Portfolio Evaluations
Each of your submissions may be reviewed using the Track Changes feature in Microsoft
Word. You can use this feature to approve/reject changes. Those final revisions may comprise your final portfolio submission for the course. For a quick tutorial on how Track Changes will be
used to evaluate portfolios, view this short video. To access tutorials about Track Changes for Microsoft Office 2003 and Microsoft Office 2007, visit this web site.
Suggestions for good portfolios:
*resize images/screen shots to 3 x 3 inches or slightly larger so they demonstrate the concept and do not take over the page,
*make sure reflections meet the 150-300 word guides; capstones should be 2-3 pages.
*proofread your work.
*use educational examples - NOT personal ones.
Participants are encouraged to sign a portfolio release form (part of the Worklog/Time log document) so that samples may be shared with future Cohorts.
Final portfolios should reflect all revisions.

plans' as part of your Capstone 1C, 2C, and 3C at the end of the
portfolio assignment. Templates for this are included under the documents link. You will have the option to create 'Student
Activities' or 'Teacher Lesson Plans'.
Please note: If you are creating a new student activity, these activities are to written for the student as if you were giving them directions in a classroom setting. Avoid the use of I and directly address the student (you will...). Use the student activity template for this.
Please note: If you are creating a teacher lesson plan, please write it as if you are explaining it for the teacher and use the teacher lesson plan blank template provided. These activities must be posted within the Moodle system for your instructor to approve BEFORE you post them to the 21things4students Lesson Repository.
